On April 18, 2023, the City Council gave direction to staff to begin the process of preparing a rental housing inventory. On Tuesday, May 30 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the City of Monterey is hosting a town hall at the Monterey Conference Center, One Portola Plaza. Participation virtually via Zoom is also an option. Based on the City Council guidance to create a rental inventory, this process supports efforts and policies to provide equitable access to affordable housing in Monterey. It further aligns with and supports the City Council Quality of Life Value Driver: In collaboration with our community partners, work to improve the quality of life of all our community members by fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion; championing equitable access to affordable housing; and maintaining a safe environment.  FULL NEWS RELEASE IN PDF
