PG&E Gas Meter Inspections Coming to your Neighborhood

PG&E informed us that beginning today, February 19, 2019, PG&E contractors will be performing routine gas meter inspections in Monterey neighborhoods. The inspections will last several weeks and is part of PG&E’s ongoing effort to provide safe and reliable gas service to customers. The contract PG&E workers will be inspecting thousands of residential and commercial gas meters. These inspections will determine if any corrosion has occurred to the meter assemblies or the risers. This inspection is conducted every three years.

CITY OF MONTEREY PUBLIC NOTICE CALL FOR SEALED BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following:  POM-800 Series Repair and Replacement of Hot Water Generators.  In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, making repairs to the heating and hot water system in the boiler rooms of POM buildings 831, 832, 836, 840 and 841.  Buildings 840 and 841 are additive alternatives and may be awarded if funding is available.  The work at each building except building 836 consists of disconnecting, removing and recycling an existing steel domestic hot water tank with heat exchanger and replacing it with a new epoxy or glass lined steel hot water tank with new full depth four pass double walled heat exchanger and magnesium sacrificial anode.

Notice is hereby given that on April 2, 2019 at 07:00 PM (or as soon thereafter as practicable) at the City Council Chambers of the City of Monterey, City Hall, 580 Pacific Street, Monterey, CA 93940, the City Council of the City of Monterey will hold a public hearing to consider the Resolution entitled “Commercial and Residential Refuse Rate Adjustments.”

The City of Monterey (City) is seeking comprehensive proposals for professional services from qualified firms to perform planning and engineering services to review, evaluate, and process permit applications for the construction and modification of wireless facilities for projects within the City.  This solicitation is not intended to create an exclusive service agreement and multiple contracts may be awarded.
