Advocacy Letters

The City of Monterey Mayor and Councilmembers work on more than just city legislation. They stay attuned to regional and state legislation that can impact our community. They take a proactive approach to advocate for legislation important to our residents and business community. Below are advocacy letters, resolutions, etc. from the Mayor and/or City Council on key proposed legislation. We will include a link to the letter as well as a brief summary of the topic and the reasoning behind the stance in support or not in support of a particular legislative item.
