11/15/2019: Narcotics Arrest

On November 13, 2019 at 1:50 PM, PRVNT assisted the Monterey County Probation Department with a probation search of the residence of Michael Ordonez in the 1700 block of Hilton Street in Seaside. During the search, a large amount of narcotics, drug sales indicia, and cash were located. A stolen purse from a theft in Salinas and an expandable baton were also recovered. NEWS RELEASE IN PDF

11-15-2019: Robbery and Theft Arrests

On November 14, 2019 at 11:57 AM, Monterey Police Officers were dispatched to the Starbucks at 2020 Del Monte Avenue regarding a report of a theft of a laptop computer. The victim reported he was inside the business when two suspects entered and stole his laptop computer from the table he was sitting at. One suspect took the computer while the other held the business door open to aid in their escape. Both suspects fled on foot and entered a waiting dark colored sedan. 11/13/2019: Monterey Bay Community Band Winter Concert, Sunday, December 8, 2019

The Monterey Community Band presents; “The Sound of Music” a concert conducted by Kristen Thompson which will feature “The Sound of Music Medley” arranged by Robert Russell Bennett, “Looney Tunes Overture” arranged by Bill Holcombe, “Disney at the Movies” arranged by John Higgins, “How Brightly Shines the Morning Star” by Johann Sebastian Bach as well as some popular holiday tunes and more! The concert will be held at the Monterey Peninsula College Music Hall on Sunday, December 8 at 2:00 p.m. Admission and parking are free.  Come and enjoy an afternoon of musical entertainment for the whole family.
