07/07/2020: Boil Water Notice in Del Monte Area of Monterey

A water main break occured on Aquajito Road near Monterey on the evening of July 7, 2020. The State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water, the Monterey County Health Department, and Cal Am are advising residents in the affected area to only use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes as a safety precaution to avoid stomach or intestinal illness; anticipated restoration by the end of July 10, 2020. Affected areas include the Aguajito Oaks, Aguajito Rd, Del Monte, Deer Flats, Fisherman's Flatts, Naval Post Graduate, Monterey Peninsula College, La Mesa, Fairgrounds, Oak Grove, Sylvan-Castro areas. The City of Monterey (City) is inviting proposals from qualified vendors for the development of a new, robust, modern, and improved website that will help us sustain digital government services and community engagement. The vendor is asked to provide the City with a detailed statement of work scope concerning the proposed approach to, and elements of, the proposed website, consistent with the work scope developed by the City below. A description of each element of the website should be supported with information on the specific methodology the vendor will employ in completing that element of the website. This RFP is meant to give participating vendors the freedom to recommend what they think is the best solution knowing our current services, goals, standards, budget and timeline. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following:  Citywide Curb Ramp Project, Phase 3.  In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, the demolition and replacement of existing curb ramps, concrete curb and gutter, and sidewalk.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following:  Citywide Sidewalk Repair Project, Phase 5.  In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to the removal and replacement of approximately 45,000 SF of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC), brick and paver sidewalks, installing curb drains and installing tree wells with pervious rubber surfaces at various location throughout the City of Monterey.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following:  City Elevator Maintenance Service Contract.  In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, regular scheduled maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and unscheduled repairs of City elevators, escalators, wheelchair lifts, and dumbwaiters.  This contract shall be used to provide the City with readily available work force for maintenance, inspection and testing to existing equipment and emergency repairs that the City deems appropriate in the City of Monterey.
