On October 13, 2021, at approximately 6:32 p.m., Monterey Police officers were dispatched to a gunshot victim in the 700 block of Pearl Street. Officers located one male individual, later identified as Nathan Farinas, 19, of Seaside, with a gunshot wound to the head. Farinas was pronounced deceased at the scene. FULL NEWS RELEASE IN PDF
