On December 5, 2022, The Monterey Police Department was informed of graffiti located in the 300 block of Alvarado Street, Monterey. It is believed the vandalism occurred sometime on December 4, 2022. The graffiti consisted of racial slurs and Anti-Semitic imagery written in black paint or marker. The Monterey Police is investigating this as a hate crime. FULL NEWS RELEASE IN PDF
