On July 7, 2021, Monterey Police Officers responded to a report of a past tense lewd and lascivious act involving an adult male and a minor.  Through further investigation, Jin Jung, 48, of Monterey, was identified as the suspect in this case.  On July 23, 2021, detectives served a search warrant on Jung’s residence and arrested him.
