Join Kaye Coleman, Clinical Hypnotherapist, for a wellness talk about how hypnotherapy can assist you releasing insomnia and cultivating restful sleep every night. Many people struggle to get enough sleep and there is a way to stop that cycle.  We live in a fast paced world and need to find tools for relaxing our nervous system. Sleep improvement is a foundational benefit of hypnosis that every client can experience. Self-hypnosis techniques will be taught along with a group hypnotic experience. Come and explore your ability to relax and sleep well. 

This lecture is sponsored by the Friends of the Monterey Public Library and the Monterey Public Library Endowment Committee. The lecture takes place in the Community Room.  Admission is free but reservations are required.  Adults ages 50-up are especially encouraged to attend. Kaye Coleman:

Kaye Coleman is a Clinical Hypnotherapist and has been practicing professionally for 11 years. She completed most of her training at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, AZ. Kaye is a Certified Hypnotherapist with the American Board of Hypnotherapy (ABH) and a Clinically Certified Hypnotherapist with the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (ACHE). Collectively she has over 2000 hours of training in the field of Healing Arts. She is a multifaceted practitioner possessing training in all the major schools of energy healing. Kaye also teaches workshops and provided sessions at healing arts conferences throughout the United States. She is currently in private practice here in Monterey. She is also an online instructor for the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in their Hypnotherapy Progarm. Monterey Public Library's SATURDAY MATINEE on Saturday, October 21, 2:00 p.m. is the Oscar-nominated film Loving that tells the story of Richard and Mildred Loving, a couple whose arrest for interracial marriage in 1960s Virginia began a legal battle that would end with the Supreme Court's historic 1967 decision, Loving vs. Virginia. Rated PG-13. The film will be followed by a discussion. Refreshments provided. 

No reservations are required. Admission is free.
