Summer Reading Program Kicks Off at Library

The Monterey Public Library will kick off it's annual Summer Reading Program on Saturday, June 6, 1 - 5 p.m. This year's theme is "Read to the Rhythm", and the kick off event will include sign ups, snacks, and special performances by the Monterey Ukelele Club and Bollyworld Dancers.  All ages are welcome. 

Throughout the summer, activities at the Library and Bookmobile will feature dance, music, poetry, and reading fun.  Children can earn prizes for time spent reading.  And there will be special activities for all ages.  The program runs through July 30.
