Monterey Public Library Hosts a Series of Special Programs during National Library Week, April 7-14, free to the community.

CALIFORNIA HISTORY ROOM OPEN HOUSE
Saturday, April 6, 10–11am • Thursday, April 11, 4–5pm
Friday, April 12, 1–2pm • Saturday, April 13, 10–11am
Learn about local history, view sample treasures, and hear how the Library preserves community heritage through stories and photographs. Maximum capacity is 15 guests per tour. Registration required. Call (831) 646-3933.

SEARCHING YOUR ROOTS AT THE LIBRARY WEBINAR

NATIONAL BOOKMOBILE DAY STORYWALK
Saturday, April 13, 1–3pm • All Ages
Walk and read along the El Estero Park trail and arrive at the bookmobile for light snacks. This fun outdoor event combines physical activity with literacy and family time! Offered in partnership with Monterey Parks & Recreation, this free, self-guided walk starts and ends at the Monterey Youth Center, 777 Pearl Street, Monterey, CA.
