Library a Ballot Drop-off Site

The Monterey Public Library, in cooperation with the Monterey County Registrar of Voters, is a designated Ballot Drop-Off location for this year’s national presidential election. The box will be available to voters from Monday, October 10 through Friday, November 4.

Libraries support citizens by providing unbiased access to information to help voters make informed decisions - key to a democratic society. As blogger Maria Popova wrote, “When a library is open, no matter its size or shape, democracy is open, too.” Monterey Public Library is open 7 days a week.

The Library also carries voter registration forms. The last day to register in the November election is October 24.
