F. Scott Fitzgerald died in 1940. He was struggling to get his work published, his family life was in tatters, he was doing battle with the bottle and his finances were in a mess. While The Great Gatsby and his other "Jazz Era" titles have become 20th century classics, much of his later work was thought to be out of style, the subject matter controversial, and much of it went unpublished.
Now, many of Fitzgerald's so-called "lost stories" will be published by Scribner as I'd Die for You and Other Lost Stories. Watch for its release in April 2017.
