The Friends of the Monterey Public Library present their 11th annual Chocolate & Wine Tasting Benefit on Friday, February 19, 7 - 9 p.m. at the Library. Sampling a wide array of Monterey County Wines including Scheid, Bernardus, Pierce, Ventana, Morgan, Joullian and more. Sample Prosecco and Ports, chocolate porter, Mad Dog Ale, craft draft from Peter B's Brewpub, and enjoy chocolate delights both sweet and savory. The event includes live music, a silent auction, balloon pop prizes, announcement of winners of the "Best Chocolate Cookie" contest and more fun than anyone should be allowed to have in the library. All proceeds benefit the Monterey Public Library.
Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Purchase tickets at the Help Desk or online at www.mplfriends.com. Must be 21-up to attend. The Library is located at 625 Pacific Street, Monterey. For more information call 831.646.5602.
