Bruce Ariss Exhibit at Library

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On exhibit at the Monterey Public Library now until November 30 is "Bruce Ariss Was Here", an display about the iconic artist, writer, editor, muralist, movie set designer, cartoonist and fascinating free-spirit who arrived on the Monterey Peninsula in 1935 and remained until his death in 1994 at age 83. The exhibit includes text describing Ariss' rich and colorful life, his multi-faceted creative endeavors, his friendship with Ed Ricketts and John Steinbeck, as well as copies of his paintings, drawings and sketches.
