On February 10, Anne Tyler's 20th novel will be released. Titled A Spool of Blue Thread, Tyler once again explores a family living in Baltimore. I don't say "once again" in the sense that this is getting tiresome. I say it as I welcome an old friend. I haven't read a review of the book - just the product description on Amazon's Web site - but, that's enough for me. I mean, can this woman even write a bad book? I ordered my copy. The hold queue for library copies is already growing, so get in line and be prepared to enjoy a good read!
Meanwhile, there was an interview with Ms. Tyler in the New York Times that I thought you might enjoy. She and I definitely see eye-to-eye on Wuthering Heights which made this article all the more enjoyable!
