The City of Monterey is looking for community input on the social services that are available for vulnerable communities citywide.
The City’s Housing Programs Office is currently studying the ways that people connect with social services, which services are most helpful, and which community needs are experiencing a gap in services. This is part of a larger Vulnerable Communities Needs Analysis that began in early 2018. The study will help inform the City’s strategy for providing services to members of the community who qualify as part of a vulnerable group, which includes low-income residents, single parent households, disabled persons, seniors, and the homeless.
