On February 11, 2021 at approximately 10:35 a.m., a Monterey Police Officer attempted to perform a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle for a violation of the California Vehicle Code in the area of Del Monte Avenue and Virgin Avenue. The vehicle did not yield to the officer and continued driving. After driving approximately five blocks, the vehicle yielded in the 400 block of English Avenue. NEWS RELEASE AND PHOTO IN PDF
