Press Conference Nov 2018
The City of Monterey is hosting a ribbon-cutting event on Tuesday, June 4 at 11:00 a.m. to celebrate the new Waterfront Parking Lot upgrades. Paid for through Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and Parking Funds at a cost of $2.6 million, this major renovation project reconfigured the lot spaces to allow for easier traffic flow, created an area for future electric charging stations, allowed for a more modern materials (trash/recyclables) collection system, and added physical features into the site to better protect the quality of storm runoff entering the Monterey Bay.
