Option 3: Redeem IN-Store - Please see the list of In-Store CRV Redemption sites at www2.calrecycle.ca.gov/BevContainer/InStoreRedemption

mdsbuybackCRV stands for California Redemption Value and it is the deposit you pay when you buy soft drinks, juices, water, beer and more (More on the CRV program)

You pay a 5¢ deposit for containers with 24 ounces or less and a 10¢ deposit for containers 25 ounces or more. These charges are collected at the store register when you buy your beverages. The hauler uses the value of the CRV containers and other commodities such as paper and cardboard to offset expenses such as landfill disposal and operational costs.
