Alvarado Gallery is located on the second floor of the Monterey Conference Center, One Portola Plaza (Del Monte Ave. at Calle Principal) in downtown Monterey.
The Conference Center is open 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and may be open on weekends for scheduled events. Call (831) 646-3770 for weekend schedule information. Map and Directions

LOCAL ARTS AND ARTISTS At THE Alvarado Gallery in the MONTEREY CONFERENCE CENTER

The City of Monterey presents rotating art exhibits at the Alvarado Gallery in the Monterey Conference Center. The Gallery provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to celebrate the rich artistic and cultural heritage of the Monterey area. A call for artwork is usually conducted each fall.

The Alvarado Gallery at the Monterey Conference Center has a new display - the community "Tree of Hearts" hearts are now on display to enjoy. Browse the hundreds of hearts and read the special messages to the community and to loved ones, commemorating the March 2021 one year mark of the COVID-19 pandemic in Monterey.
