Adult Basketball Tournament (Ages 50+)

The Adult Ages 50+ Lucky Draw Basketball Tournament will take place on December 1st, 2022. Sign up as an individual player and your teammates will be picked in a random draw. The fee is $20 or $18 for City of Monterey Residents. Space is limited. Register online with Activity #42075-B.
Youth Basketball League (6 - 13 years, All Levels):
The Youth Basketball League is BACK, December 10th - February 26th!
December 10th and 11th are evaluation days for team placement. League practices start the week of January 2nd. League games start January 7th and run through February 26th. View the league schedule for specified days and times. To register online, keyword search "basketball" on the registration page and register in the appropriate age group. Face coverings are strongly recommended for all persons regardless of vaccination status during all indoor activities. Volunteers and Sponsors needed! If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out this volunteer form and return to Ryan Nunez at nunez@monterey.org or drop it off in person at the sports center. 
Beginner/Intermediate Martial Arts (6 years and up):
The Monterey Sports Center offers Martial Arts classes, which combines the martial arts of jujitsu and karate. Sessions are ongoing. Class meets Tuesdays and Fridays from 6:45 pm - 7:45 pm. Register online with Activity #43056. Face coverings are strongly recommended for all persons regardless of vaccination status during all indoor activities.
Adult Coed Volleyball Leagues:
The Monterey Sports Center offers seasonal Adult Coed Volleyball leagues on Monday nights. Limited space available, as only the first 5 teams will be accepted. For ages 18 years and older. Please call Ryan Nunez at (831) 646-3439 or email at nunez@monterey.org

PRIVATE BASKETBALL & Volleyball LESSONS

We offer both private basketball and volleyball lessons for all ages. The fee is $50 per hour. To set up a private lesson, please call Ryan Nunez at (831) 646-3439 or email at nunez@monterey.org.

NEW! Lunchtime Basketball:
The Monterey Sports Center has drop-in basketball at lunchtime from 11:45am - 1:45pm.
All levels welcome. Basketballs are provided. Face coverings are strongly recommended for all persons regardless of vaccination status during all indoor activities. Participants can pay the drop-in rate or use their MSC membership
NEW! Drop-in Pickleball: 
Pickleball is currently the fastest growing sport around. All ages and skill levels welcome Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00am-11:00am. Face coverings are strongly recommended for all persons regardless of vaccination status during all indoor activities. Participants can pay the drop-in rate or use their MSC membership
Drop-in Badminton:

The Monterey Sports Center has drop-in Badminton use on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:30am - 9:30am and on Saturdays from 8:00am - 10:00am. Bringing your own rackets and shuttlecocks to play is strongly encouraged. Face coverings are strongly recommended for all persons regardless of vaccination status during all indoor activities. Participants can pay the drop-in rate or use their MSC membership
Drop-in Ping Pong:
The Monterey Sports Center has a ping pong table available for recreational use. The ping pong table is available upon request. For assistance, please see the front desk at the Monterey Sports Center. Face coverings are strongly recommended for all persons regardless of vaccination status during all indoor activities. Participants can pay the drop-in rate or use their MSC membership
Drop-in Volleyball: 
The Monterey Sports Center has a drop-in Volleyball night on Wednesdays from 5:00 pm - 7:45 pm. Face coverings are strongly recommended for all persons regardless of vaccination status during all indoor activities. Participants can pay the drop-in rate or use their MSC membership
