He says, "Monterey is going to be an incredible platform and the start of our newest edition to the World’s Toughest Row, The Pacific Challenge - the historic and beautiful harbor where teams in a years’ time will spend their last days on dry land before they row out towards Hawaii. Our event truly tests the strength of human spirit at the mercy of mother nature. After 10 years of running the Atlantic Challenge we aim to transfer our success from the Atlantic ocean to the Pacific and we are thrilled to already have experienced a warm welcome from the local community."
