CITY OF MONTEREY PUBLIC NOTICE CALL FOR SEALED BIDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following:  Presidio Municipal Services Agency (PMSA) Elevator and Wheelchair Lift Maintenance Services.  In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, regular scheduled maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, diagnosis and unscheduled repairs on PMSA elevators and wheelchair lifts.  This maintenance service contract shall be used to provide the City with a readily available work force as the City deems appropriate.  The work shall be located on the Presidio of Monterey, former Fort Ord, and to include the DHRA Enterprise Operations Center.

A water main break occured on Aquajito Road near Monterey on the evening of July 7, 2020. The State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water, the Monterey County Health Department, and Cal Am are advising residents in the affected area to only use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes as a safety precaution to avoid stomach or intestinal illness; anticipated restoration by the end of July 10, 2020. Affected areas include the Aguajito Oaks, Aguajito Rd, Del Monte, Deer Flats, Fisherman's Flatts, Naval Post Graduate, Monterey Peninsula College, La Mesa, Fairgrounds, Oak Grove, Sylvan-Castro areas.
