In pursuit of continuing to improve alternative transportation infrastructure throughout Monterey, the City of Monterey boasts a number of bicycle rack locations to encourage use of bicycles as a prime means of commuting. Newly created maps show the locations of these bicycle racks to conveniently park and secure bikes. The maps are both printable at www.monterey.org/bicycles and on a Google-type interactive map layer within the Property Review map linked from the City’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) web page at www.monterey.org/gis.
