The Community Development Department entitles most major private development projects within the City. The Project Status Reports box in the upper right corner of this page may provide information on projects that have completed all required discretionary review and are either under review for building permits or are under construction.


Public Projects

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following:  Scholze Park Improvements (32n1922 & NIP2046) REBID.  In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, demolition, and construction of decorative columns and fencing, stairs, irrigation modification, seating area, brick walkway, concrete paver walkway, and electrical with lighting.

CITY OF MONTEREY PUBLIC NOTICE CALL FOR SEALED BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following:  Pine Street 800 Block Storm Drainage Improvements, Hawthorne/Irving Bulbouts, Hawthorne/McClellan Bulbouts.  In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, construction of new storm drain inlets at 899 Pine, 1003 David, and 999 Irving; replacing drain inlets at 835, 856, and 857 Pine, 805 Oak and 1021 Irving; retrofitting curb ramps at Irving/Oak; and construction of curb ramps and bulb-outs at Hawthorne/Irving and Hawthorne/McClellan.  The work shall include, but not be limited to, implementation of temporary water pollution controls and temporary traffic controls, construction staking, saw cutting and demolition, and construction of storm drain inlets, storm drain manhole, curb, gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, and HMA paving.

CITY OF MONTEREY PUBLIC NOTICE CALL FOR SEALED BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following:  Detention Basin Dredging Washerwoman’s and Lagunita Mirada and Ryan Ranch Basins.  In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, maintenance dredging of Washerwoman’s, Lagunita Mirada, and Ryan Ranch Detention Basins and proper disposal of dredged material.  Work includes the removal of approximately 3,750 cubic yards of sediment from the Washerwoman’s Detention Basin, 1,750 cubic yards of sediment from Lagunita Mirada Detention Basins, 330 cubic yards of sediment from Lower Ragsdale Siltation Basin, 370 cubic yards of sediment from Harris Retention Pond, and 40 cubic yards of sediment from Wilson Detention Basin.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following:  Elk Run/Deer Forest Drive Bulb Outs and Mule Deer Way Resurfacing.  In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to the construction of curb bulb-outs, curb ramps, soldier pile retaining wall and tree box filter, including temporary traffic control, temporary water pollution control, construction staking, tree removal, sawcutting and demolition of asphalt and concrete pavements, earthwork, concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, and curb ramp construction, storm drain system modifications, retaining wall construction, HMA and concrete paving, and signing and striping.
