The Project Status Reports box in the upper right corner of this page may provide information on projects that have completed all required discretionary review and are either under review for building permits or are under construction.
The City's Engineering Office coordinates all public projects approved through the Capital Improvement Program and Neighborhood Improvement Program.
The City of Monterey is accepting proposals for development projects requesting a water allocation. The proposal must include affordable housing. Proposals are due no later than Monday, July 16, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. to the City of Monterey Planning Office – 580 Pacific Street, Monterey, CA 93940 and must meet all requirements listed in the Request for Proposals. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following: Citywide ADA Ramps and Street Reconstruction, Phase 7. In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, the demolition and construction of concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, sidewalk crossings (driveway approach), curb ramps, cross gutters, storm drains, rock blanket, street lights, signage and striping, isolated street and drive surface repairs, pavement grinding, street reconstruction, full depth reclamation, glass grid asphalt reinforcement, and hot mix asphalt paving.
