The City's Engineering Office coordinates all public projects approved through the Capital Improvement Program and Neighborhood Improvement Program.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following: Wharf II Fire Protection System Replacement Project. In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary for, and reasonably incidental to, providing and installing complete fire protection systems, and other work as shown or indicated in the drawings and specifications.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Monterey invites sealed bids for furnishing the following: Job Order Contract for Signal and Traffic Equipment Maintenance 2019. In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, the construction, repairs, alterations to existing facilities and emergency work for the repair and maintenance of traffic signal, communications, and lighting systems, including testing and certificate of new controller assemblies, maintenance, repair and installation of new traffic signal equipment, lighted crosswalks, radar speed feedback signs, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, flashing beacons and fiber optic network.
