Purpose |
Assist in preparation of and participating in special
events through the calendar year. Projects include City of Monterey Christmas Tree
Lighting Ceremony, Holiday Arts & Crafts Festival, Halloween Celebration, Pumpkin
Carving Contest, Christmas in Monterey, Plant Cutting Day, 4th of July Celebration, etc. |

Duties |
Play a role in making these events happen. Be
part of a phone tree, make decorations, work on setups, be part of the clean up crew,
carry banners, assist parade entries, help control foot and auto traffic. Duties vary
according to interest and needs for each event. |

Qualifications |
Follow through and commitment and your
interest; we will find a way to use your talents! Appropriate orientation and training
will be provided. |
|
Time Commitment |
Can be a few hours or more if you
are available, day and evening hours. We would like to develop an on-call volunteer list
for special events. |
