Purpose |
Assist staff with general Center operations |
|
Duties |
Under the direct supervision of Community Center
staff, assist with general Center operations including customer service, public
relations, bulletin board design, create program flyers and proof read general
correspondence. "Front office" reception and clerical
assignments such as telephone and general filing tasks, are also
part of this position. |
|
Qualifications |
Familiarity with basic telephone and filing
procedures is a plus! A warm, friendly customer-service persona is absolutely essential. |
|
Time Commitment |
Three separate shifts are
available: 9 a.m.-1 p.m., 1-5 p.m., 5-9 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 1-5 p.m. on
Saturdays. The Recreation and Community Services Department is pleased to consider
volunteer reception/clerical assistance for a minimum of one 4-hour shift per week or
more. |
