Work outside, walking City
streets. |

Purpose |
Identify and document pedestrian hazards such
as trip hazards and other safety code needs for purposes of scheduling repair by City
Public Works employees. |
|
Duties |
Learn City codes related to sidewalk and other
safety hazards. By assigned area, walk through City areas and identify and document
pedestrian safety hazards. Complete and submit reports for staff follow-up on hazards. |
|
Qualifications |
Ability to understand and learn City safety
codes related to pedestrian hazards, good writing skills, good observation and
communication skills, ability to ambulate sidewalks and pathways and avoid noted hazards. |
|
Time Commitment |
Minimum commitment would be for 3
or more hours per week; ongoing need, can do one hour per day. |
