Various recreational and public
facilities throughout the City of Monterey. |

Purpose |
Assist in identification and elimination of
graffiti in public areas. |
|
Duties |
Walk through inspections of various sites to
inspect for graffiti; contacting City Maintenance Dept. to alert them for clean up. Advise
private building owners on methods to remove graffiti; may participate in some removal
efforts. |
|
Qualifications |
Good observational skills, ability to walk and
be outside for some time, good communication skills, follow through on project, ability to
work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to be trained in graffiti removal
techniques for educating others. |
|
Time Commitment |
Volunteer would work upon request
of Plans & Public Works staff for 1-3 hours per shift. |
