Purpose |
The City of Monterey seeks local service or
neighborhood groups who can assist in parks maintenance through "adopting" a
portion of a trail and maintaining its general upkeep. |
|
Duties |
Weekly litter clean-up, reporting hazards to
Plans & Public Works staff, general upkeep of trail. |
|
Qualifications |
Ability to perform some bending and lifting,
walking of trails, observation skills, follow through and ongoing communication with
Department staff. |
|
Time Commitment |
Dependent upon need and size of individual
project. Minimum of 1-2 hours per week. Long term commitment requested. |
