Purpose |
The Police Department uses computers extensively
to investigate crimes and uncover suspects. Information from crime reports are analyzed to
spot trends early so a tactical action plan can be implemented immediately. |

Duties |
- Enter, retrieve and process
information relating to suspect
identities, crime trends, geographic area and methods of
operation of known criminals
- Prepare a monthly report of findings
- Conduct assigned research |

Qualifications |
- Computer experience required
- Strong typing skills are essential
- Experience with Excel 5.0 |

Time Commitment |
Four (4) hours a week, minimum one
year |
