Purpose |
Assist Revenue Division in license monitoring
program. |
|
Duties |
Walk the business areas of the City, matching
business to a list of licensed businesses (furnished by the Revenue Office). If a business
does not appear on the list, the name, address, and any other available information should
be noted by the volunteer and brought back to the Revenue Office. No contact with the
public regarding business license requirements, policies, etc. This is information
gathering only. |

Qualifications |
Ability to match business names with printed
list from Revenue Division; ability to walk from business to business. No special skills
or experience is required. |

Time Commitment |
Suggest 8 hours per week; this could be at the
discretion of the volunteer who will be working off premises. This position is seasonal
related to business license renewal cycle. |
