Purpose |
Assist Communications & Outreach
Manager |

Duties |
Assist in
production of a comprehensive community outreach program. Duties include,
but are not limited to, the following: assisting in communications office,
e.g. organizing brochures and information distributed by various City;
proofreading City Focus before distribution; marketing upcoming City events,
e.g. distributing materials/flyers on upcoming events to local
business/recreation centers; assisting with registration and setup at
community events. |

Qualifications |
Background in marketing and/or
communications helpful; computer literate; interested in working with people
and responding to their needs. |
|
Time Commitment |
Varies depending on event
schedules - Typically 3-4 hours per week ongoing; flexible schedule; some
work can be completed off site; some evening or weekend work may be
required. |
