Service Area Communications and Outreach Office
Purpose To perform a variety of skilled work in the operation of the City's multimedia systems, produce City related video programming for broadcast on government access channels and perform related work.
Duties Under the direction of the Communications and Outreach Manager, the Media Production Assistant will produce city- related video programming and update information for broadcasting on The Monterey Channel (cable TV 25). Related duties include planning, writing, directing and editing, programs to promote City functions and services, produce and/or direct special location field videos.
Qualifications Ability to produce and direct video programs; ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; certification to use and check-out AMP equipment; ability to work independently OR desire and ability to learn about video production and to obtain certification to use and check-out AMP production equipment.
Time  Commitment Flexible.
