Special Project Volunteer - Administration

Service Area Monterey Public Library
Purpose The Special Project volunteer staff with short term assignments that are enhancements to library programs and services, and tasks not regularly undertaken by Administrative staff.
Duties Preparing promotional mailings for special events, helping to organize book sales and fundraising events, making signs, and serving as a back-up for the Volunteer Plant Caretaker.
Qualifications The Special Project Volunteer has some experience working in an office or Library environment, is a self-starter who enjoys a variety of tasks, is reliable, prompt, attentive to detail, and is available on an as-needed basis.
Training A one-hour orientation and training will be provided, with additional training as needed.
Time  Commitment Volunteer will work on an as-needed basis, with a minimum
6-month commitment.
