Purpose |
The Special Project volunteer
staff with short term assignments that are enhancements to library programs
and services, and tasks not regularly undertaken by Administrative staff.
|
|
Duties |
Preparing promotional mailings
for special events, helping to organize book sales and fundraising events,
making signs, and serving as a back-up for the Volunteer Plant Caretaker.
|
|
Qualifications |
The Special Project Volunteer
has some experience working in an office or Library environment, is a
self-starter who enjoys a variety of tasks, is reliable, prompt, attentive
to detail, and is available on an as-needed basis. |
|
Training |
A one-hour orientation and
training will be provided, with additional training as needed. |
|
Time Commitment |
Volunteer will work on an
as-needed basis, with a minimum
6-month commitment. |
