Special Project Volunteer - Youth Services

Service Area Monterey Public Library
Purpose The Special Project Volunteer assists staff on special projects by working in his/her home or in the Library, in preparing for programs, promotions or library services.
Duties Assist with craft preparation. Compile papers for programs or promotions. Stamp or label promotional items for distribution. Assist with enhancements to library programs and services.
Qualifications The ideal program assistant enjoys creative arts and crafts projects; is able to work independently; is accurate and attentive to detail; is responsible and committed to the assignment; takes pride in a job well done.
Training A 30-minute training session will be provided with complete direction given for completing the project. Necessary materials will be provided.
Time  Commitment A project will require 2-5 hours and should be complete within 2 weeks.
