Purpose |
The Special Project Volunteer
assists staff on special projects by working in his/her home or in the
Library, in preparing for programs, promotions or library services. |
|
Duties |
Assist with craft preparation.
Compile papers for programs or promotions. Stamp or label promotional items
for distribution. Assist with enhancements to library programs and services.
|
|
Qualifications |
The ideal
program assistant enjoys creative arts and crafts projects; is able to work
independently; is accurate and attentive to detail; is responsible and
committed to the assignment; takes pride in a job well done. |
|
Training |
A 30-minute training session
will be provided with complete direction given for completing the project.
Necessary materials will be provided. |
|
Time Commitment |
A project will require 2-5 hours
and should be complete within 2 weeks. |
