Purpose |
The Volunteer Plant Care
Volunteer assists staff by maintaining indoor plants in the Library. |
|
Duties |
The Plant Care Volunteer waters,
cleans, prunes, feeds, and re-pots as needed library-owned houseplants. |
|
Qualifications |
The ideal
Library Plant Care Volunteer is knowledgeable about the proper care of
indoor plants; has an interest in maintaining the attractive appearance of
library; is physically capable of standing, bending, lifting and handling
plants, gardening tools and supplies. |
|
Training |
A 1-hour
orientation and training session will be provided. |
|
Time Commitment |
1-1/2 hours per week, on a
consistent weekly schedule to be agreed upon, with a 6-month commitment. |
