Data Entry Assistant, CERT

Service Area Monterey Fire Department
Purpose Assist in data entry of Firefighter reports; coordinate and assist in writing, formatting and producing  newsletter for Neighborhood Emergency Response Training program.
Duties Enter reports into computer, learn about CERT program and assist in development of newsletter, including writing, design, formatting and production of a quarterly newsletter.
Qualifications Data entry experience, excellent grammar and writing skills, interest in journalism, familiar with dbase systems, willingness to learn about emergency response.
Time  Commitment Minimum of 4 hours per week, 1 year commitment.
Supervisor CERT Coordinator/Volunteer Coordinator.
