The
Volunteen program is designed for
young people of many skills and interests. As a Volunteen, you will have the opportunity
to contribute your unique talents and energy toward the growth of the Monterey community.
Volunteen provides a leadership program for youth interested in receiving instruction,
supervision and training in public service. Volunteen provides valuable work experience
for teens by allowing them to assist staff assigned to various roles in city government.
Volunteen is open to teens from age 13 to 16. The program normally
operates during summer vacation, but some volunteer opportunities are available during the
