Community Services
Overall City Services and five other items have trend ratings: Fire, Library, Police, Services for Seniors and Vehicle Traffic Enforcement. Trends are shown in the next figure for "average or better" ratings. Only Services for Seniors and Vehicle Traffic Enforcement showed modest declines (5 points).

Programs for Age Groups
Community members were asked to rate the services available for people of different age groups. The percentage of "average or better" ratings are shown in the table below. According to raters, seniors have the best services, closely followed by Adults and Children; however, Youth (middle/junior high school) and Teens (high school) programs received lower ratings.

Other services
Additional items in this area generally pertained to mobility and are ranked ("average or better"): Availability of Parking in Business Districts, Bicycle Lanes, Bus Service (operated by MST), Availability of Pedestrian Walkways/Areas, Garbage Collection/Recycling, Harbor/Marina Services and WAVE Shuttle Service.
