Online Account Registration Information
Register for all programs at the
Monterey Sports Center unless otherwise noted.
Mail-in, call-in or faxed registrations
will not be accepted.
Hours of registration
Monday - Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Sports Center is located at 301 E. Franklin St. just
off Del Monte Avenue and adjacent to the City parking garages. During hours
of operation, contact the Monterey Sports Center

Classes |
|
– Activities and classes are limited in size. Registration
will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
– For each session, you must register and pay prior to the
date class begins.
– Registering and paying for one session does not guarantee
enrollment in subsequent sessions. You may register and pay for one session or all

- Separate registration forms are required
for each participant.
- Please complete the entire form.
- Incomplete or incorrect information on registration forms
will not be processed, thereby losing your priority and voiding the registration process.
- Age level or grade level indicates the participant must be
that age or grade by the first day of class.
- Parents must register their children under 18 years of age.
- Forms are available in
Adobe Acrobat PDF file format.
If you don't have the FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader, you
can obtain it from Adobe
 by clicking on the linked Acrobat icon to the right.
- Forms are also available at the Monterey Recreation &
Community Services Recreation Activity Guide or at the Monterey Sports Center.
A
parent/guardian must sign the registration form.
- Registration is processed at the Monterey Sports Center,
located at 301 E. Franklin Street, for all programs offered there.

Fees |
|
- Full payment of class fees must be provided at time of
registration.
- If you are not a Monterey City Resident, please pay Other
City Resident fees. Other City Resident fees are slightly higher due to City policy.
- Failure to add Other City Resident fees will void your
registration.
- Make all checks payable to: City of Monterey;
No post-dated checks will be accepted. MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted
for registration.
- Monterey City Resident (MCR) are those who
reside within the city limits of Monterey. Other City Resident (OCR)
refers anyone living outside the Monterey city limits. (Del Rey Oaks is not within the city limits of Monterey.)
- Proof of Monterey residency will be
asked upon registration. Driver's license, utility bill, or other
official identification is acceptable. A P.O. Box address is not
acceptable.

Refunds/Transfers |
|
- No refunds given after class begins.
- Refunds given if notified before the class
begins. A 25% service charge will be assessed.
- Full refunds given if class is canceled by the Department.
- Transfers must be requested prior to the first class, if
space if available. A $2 fee will be charged for each transfer.
- Classes are not pro-rated.
- Refunds are not given in cash. The City will issue a check.
Please allow 2 weeks for the refund to reach you.
- All activities, dates, and fees subject to change.
