Farmers'
markets, are markets, usually held out-of-doors,
in public
spaces, where farmers can sell produce and other
goods to the public.
These markets are great opportunities to find
farm
fresh seasonal produce and locally produced food
products, organic and sustainable food
selections, that are locally grown, picked at
peak freshness for flavor and preserving the
nutritional content. These markets are a great
way to support your local community as well as
local farmers. Farmer's who sell direct to the
public without utilizing a middle man get a much
better price which they can turn and put back
into the farming operation.
