The Monterey City Council has established a Mayor/Council Youth
Achievement Award Program. This program is open to any Monterey resident youth from 2nd
grade through 12th grade. The criteria for nominations is based on the following two
categories: Community Contribution and Personal Family Achievement.Anyone may nominate a Monterey resident youth for this
award by submitting a nomination for to City Hall. Nominations forms are available at City
Hall, corner of Pacific and Madison street, and our Community Centers. Nominations are
reviewed each quarter and youth selected to receive the award will be notified and invited
to come before the City Council.
