Softball and baseball fields may be reserved by local groups. No fee is charged for the
use of the fields. A fee will be charged for the use of lights and for field preparation
when requested. Request and payment of fees for lights and field preparation must be made
at least five working days prior to the day the field is to be used. Reservations can only
be made through the Sports Supervisor at 831.646.3969.

Click here for details. The following parks have group picnic (BBQ) areas available
for reservations: *Archer, *Casanova Oak Knoll, *Deer Flats, El Estero, *Fisherman's
Flats, *Hilltop, *Laguna Grande, Larkin, Montecito, Monterey Bay Park, *Oak Newton, Peter J.
Ferrante, *Veterans Memorial and Via Paraiso. Individual picnic tables are available on a
first come basis. Casanova Oak Knoll, Hilltop, Monterey Senior Center, Monterey
Youth Center, and Veteran's Memorial Park Use Permits may be purchased at the individual
parks; all other park Use Permits may be purchased at the Recreation & Community Services
office at 546 Dutra Street. Call 831.646.3866 for more information. See links for

Park Use Permits are $35 for Monterey City Residents; $50
for Other City Residents. Bounce House Permit fees are $35 for all residents.
Reservations must be made in person and proof of residency is required to receive
the City resident discount. City parks are open to the public daily from 6:00 a.m. to
10:00 p.m. No climbing walls or water toys, e.g. waterslides or Slip 'N Slides, are
allowed in the parks. Parks listed above designated with an * allow jump
house/inflatables provided a City issued Bounce House Permit is acquired and a City
approved vendor is contracted. Thank you for your help and cooperation in this matter.

Includes various pieces of play equipment and are available for group use. There
is a $40 fee for Monterey City Residents and a $48 fee for Other City Residents, there is
also a refundable deposit fee of $25. Proof of residency must be furnished at time of
reservation to receive the City resident discount. Call the Recreation and Community
Services Department office at 831.646.3866 for information.
Waterfront Community Room: The
Waterfront Community Room, adjacent to the Maritime Museum and Custom House Plaza, is
available for reservations by non-profit organizations for meetings. Maximum
capacity is 25 people. For information
