Services Office manages the City's recycling, disposal services and other service
contracts.
Call/email us about recycling; refuse (trash) disposal; elevator maintenance; and recreational

Recycling
We educate residents and business owners about recycling opportunities and how to save
money by recycling. The City's Citizens Advisory Committee on Recycling Issues meets as
required. For more information on recycling, click here.
Disposal Services
We work with Monterey Disposal Service and
the community to inform citizens about the City's disposal service requirements. For
information on the local landfill, visit the
Monterey
Regional Waste Management District (Monterey Peninsula Landfill and Recycling
Facility).
Contract Services
We manage the City's service contract agreements, including elevator maintenance, pest
control, fire extinguisher maintenance, Coastal Trail cleaning and interior landscape
