Page
2 of Awards The following staff have been
recognized by the Public Works Department for their outstanding contributions:
ETHAN CALLAHAN, Street Maintenance Worker
Ethan goes above and beyond the scope of his duties. He received
his Class B license even though it was not required. He is always
available for standby duty and ready to assist wherever he is needed. |
 |
KEVIN CLEMENT, Assistant Civil Engineer
The success of the NIP program is due to Kevin’s efforts for
preliminary development of estimates and evaluation of the feasibility
of projects submitted. Kevin also oversees the trip hazard abatement
program, which annually costs the City thousands of dollars, but has
saved the City tenfold in dollars in potential liability actions. |
 |
MICHAEL MCMILLAN, Park Maintenance Worker
Michael has taken over the huge task of maintenance in the
Downtown area and City Hall, keeping both looking excellent and a
great place for citizens and employees to enjoy. |
 |
NORM GREEN, Associate Engineering Surveyor
Norm is a great person to work with. He is very knowledgeable,
always upbeat and willing to help out his co-workers. He put together
the surveying classes for CLSA and also taught some of the classes. |

These employees all demonstrated their technical expertise, as well as
their extraordinary work ethic.
Congratulations

Keep up the good work!
