2.8-acre neighborhood park in New Monterey at Jessie Street and David Avenue. Play equipment, turf area, picnic area, BBQ, tennis court, basketball court and multi-purpose facility. 646.3975.

2.5-acre neighborhood park in New Monterey at Oak & Newton Streets. Play equipment, turf area, open & covered BBQ picnic area, restrooms, half basketball court.

3. Archer Park Center & Hoffman Park: VIEW DETAILS
1.6-acre park and activity center in New Monterey at 542 Archer Street between Hoffman & McClellan. Multi-purpose facility, meeting rooms, turf area, play equipment, multi-use area, group BBQ picnic area and basketball court. Reservations: 646.38

4. Monterey Senior Center and Scholze Park: COMMUNITY CENTER HOMEPAGE
1.2-acre park and Senior Citizens activity center at Lighthouse & Dickman. Multi-purpose facility, turf area, group BBQ. Reservations: 646.3878.

5. San Carlos Beach Park:
2.87-acre passive coastline park with landscaped turf areas, walkways, seating areas and vista points to the Bay. Restroom and access to the beach. Located on Cannery Row at the foot of Reeside Avenue. Roller-skates/blades and skateboards are prohibited.

6. Fisherman's Shoreline Park:
5-acre coastline park with turf area, seating areas with Bay views, and Recreation Trail, between Fisherman's Wharf & Coast Guard pier.

7. Larkin Park: VIEW DETAILS
1-acre neighborhood park at Monroe and Clay Street. Play equipment, multi-purpose playfield, basketball court, picnic tables, BBQ and restrooms. Reservations: 646.3866

8. Huckleberry Hill Nature Preserve: MAP
81-acre park with numerous, well established hiking trails. Pedestrian access is through Veteran's Memorial Park.

9. Veteran's Memorial Park: VIEW DETAILS | VETERAN'S MEMORIAL PARK HOMEPAGE
50-acre park with overnight group camping, walking trails, BBQ picnic areas, play equipment, turf playfield, at end of Skyline Drive at Veteran's Drive. Accessible campsite availability. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Group BBQ reservations: 646.3865.

10. Via Paraiso Park: VIEW DETAILS
10.6-acre multi-use neighborhood park at Via Paraiso & Herrmann Drive. Includes Peter J. Aldrete ball field, tennis courts (2), play equipment, half basketball court, group BBQ picnic area, restrooms. Reservations: 646.3866.

11. Whispering Pines Park: VIEW DETAILS
3.1-acre group use park at Pacific & Alameda. Amphitheatre, open & covered BBQ picnic areas, restrooms. Reservations: 646.3866.

12. Jacks Ballpark:
3.7-acre multi-use municipal sports park at Franklin & Figueroa Streets, downtown Monterey. Ball field & bleachers with night lighting, tot play area, restrooms. Ball field programming: 646.3969.

13. Monterey Tennis Center: TENNIS CENTER INFO
401 Pearl Street downtown Monterey. Open daily 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Lighted tennis courts (6), pro shop. Reservation or lesson information: 646.3881.

14. Don Dahvee Greenbelt:
35.8-acre passive recreation area adjacent to Munras Avenue. Nature trails, picnic tables, bike path

15. El Estero Park Complex: VIEW DETAILS | BALLFIELD RESERVATIONS
45-acre City-wide multi-use recreation area in the center of Monterey at Del Monte/Camino Aguajito/Fremont/Camino El Estero. Paddleboat concession at lake, group BBQ picnic area, exercise course, restrooms (reservations: 646.3866). Home of the following:

Open daily 10 a.m. to dusk. Closed on non-holiday Tuesdays, September - May.

Montery Youth Center:
VIEW INFO 777 Pearl Street. Multi-use recreation facility for youth, teen, and adult activities. Programming information: 646.3873.

Frank E. Sollecito, Jr. Ballpark: Multi-use field, standard ball diamond (lighted), bleachers, restrooms. Programming Information:646.3969.

Monterey Dance Studio: Wood dance floor, ballet bars. Programming information: 646.3873.

El Estero Boating Concession: 375.1484

El Estero Snack Bar: Open weekends year round (summer, Tuesday-Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.), 372.8446.

MONTEREY SKATE PARK:
VIEW DETAILS Open daily from 9 a.m. until dusk. Located next to Lake El Estero behind Sollecito Ballpark.
Rules: 1) Skaters under 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult; 2) All skaters are required to wear safety gear, including a helmet, knee and elbow pads and wrist/hand guards.


16. Iris Canyon Greenbelt:
32.1-acre natural greenbelt area at Fremont & Iris Canyon Road.

17. Monterey Bay Waterfront Park/Window on the Bay: VIEW DETAILS | WINDOW ON THE BAY HOMEPAGE

18. Peter J. Ferrante Park: VIEW DETAILS

20. Laguna Grande Regional Park: VIEW DETAILS
A 34.8-acre regional park (with 12-acre lake), straddling Monterey & Seaside at Del Monte & Virgin Ave. BBQ picnic areas, play equipment, bike & walking paths, restrooms.

21. Casanova Oak Knoll Park Center: VIEW DETAILS | BALLFIELD RESERVATIONS | CASANOVA PARK HOMEPAGE
A 1.3-acre neighborhood park at Ramona and Euclid Avenues. Play equipment, turf, half basketball court, BBQ picnic area and multi-purpose facility. Reservations: 646.5665.

23. Deer Flats Park: VIEW DETAILS
A 1-acre neighborhood park on Deer Forest Road. Play equipment, turf area, picnic area and half basketball court. Reservations: 646.3866.

25. Monterey Bay Coastal/Recreational Trail: MONTEREY BAY COASTAL TRAIL HOMEPAGE
Ocean-front linear park system that spans the coastline 18 miles from Pacific Grove to Castroville, pedestrian and bicycling trail reaches from the Aquarium to the Seaside limits.

26. Cypress Park:
1-acre neighborhood park located in New Monterey at Cypress and Hoffman. Tennis Court, play equipment, turf area and spectacular view of the bay.

27. Monterey Sports Center: SPORTS CENTER HOMEPAGE
3.2-acre site at Washington and Franklin. 30 meter pool, 6 meter therapeutic pool, 3 cross-court gym, weight training center, cardio fitness center, 2 group exercise studios, Kid Zone, restrooms, locker room, sun deck, and Sports Cafe and Pro Shop. 646.3700.

28. Friendly Plaza:

29. Lagunita Mirada:
1-acre hillside Rhododendron garden with ornamental bridge and shaded pathways at Fremont and Iris Canyon.

30. Del Monte Beach:
Adjacent to Tide Avenue and Surf Way. Passive beach area, boardwalk, volleyball, sand dunes, and picnic tables and benches.

31. Quarry Park:
10-acres of natural park at Via Gayuba and Via Del Pinar. Hiking trail in wooded setting.

32. Lower Presidio Historic Park:
26-acres on the Presidio of Monterey with scenic views of the bay and historic monuments.

33. Soldier Field: BALLFIELD RESERVATIONS
9.5-acres multi-use sports field with 3 baseball diamonds. Use shared with the Military.

34. Spray Avenue Tot Lot:
.10 acre neighborhood tot lot located on Spray Avenue. Play equipment for young children.

35. McAbee Beach City Park: .14 acre sand beach with accessible ramp located on Cannery Row at the ft of Hoffman. Ocean views and interpretative signage on the history of the site.
36. Laguna Grande Court Park:
.07 acre Neighborhood Tot Lot located at the east end of Kolb Ave. Play equipment for small children.
