 MONTEREY SPORTS CENTER NATATORIUM & LOCKER ROOMS NOW OPEN!

The City of Monterey’s construction project on the Monterey Sports Center’s Natatorium and Locker/Shower rooms is complete and the pools are open! 

The main women’s and men’s locker rooms have been refurbished with new lockers, slip resistant flooring, tile and shower partitions.  Plumbing and mechanical systems were also renovated. 

In the natatorium, both pools were replastered and retiled.  The pools were also equipped with an UV system and new underwater lighting. The pool deck was also renovated with a slip resistant surface.  

The staff is still adding the finishing touches to the newly updated areas.
