MONTEREY COMMUNITY BAND SPRING CONCERT
The Monterey Community Band Spring Concert
is scheduled for Sunday, June 8 at 2:00 p.m. The concert is titled,
“Thanks for the Memories: A Tribute to Our World War II Veterans.”
The band will play music from that era to include Big Band Swing
music, Victory at Sea, March of 1941 and music from South
Pacific. The concert will be held at Monterey Peninsula College
Music Hall. Special guests include the Hep Kats Swing Dancers.
Admission is free. Come and enjoy an afternoon of musical
entertainment to dance the night away. The Community Band is
sponsored by the City of Monterey Recreation and Community Services
